In the series Fovea Centralis Vol. 1 process is highlighted, and used to capture the minutia of fluid detail which can arise from combining glassmaking processes together in a non-traditional format, creating lenses for light to penetrate and distort. The stands display the work at a human level allowing for careful study of the smallest details within the work, as well as allowing for the possibility of using them to distort and play with the surrounding room, challenging and concentrating perceptions of colour, surface and space.
